About

I’ve been working in the IT/Telcom/Tech industry since 1997… which practically makes me an old timer!

Tech and innovation has always fascinated me, even if I only know enough to be dangerous. For the first part of my career I worked for both small regional Internet/voice carriers, as well as nationwide providers in customer-facing sales roles. Marketing was always one of my favorite aspects of my job – how do I position our company and products against those offered by companies with multi-million dollar budgets?

After returning to school to get my MBA from the Charlton School of Business at UMass Dartmouth, in 2015 I transitioned out of telecom and into the IoT space when I became the Marketing & Channel Communications Manager for AVTECH Software, Inc. At AVTECH I’ve been able to build out a well-rounded marketing department that helps promote our Room Alert products around the world through trade show appearances, media coverage, videos, articles, traditional print campaigns and so much more.

Most importantly, I’m a happily married father of two, and in my spare time I’ve been involved with the Dartmouth School Music Association since 2014. I’ve served on the executive board in a number of roles, including President and Vice President, and it’s been a true joy to be around such amazing student musicians as they travel throughout the East Coast performing amazing shows, and winning a number of regional and national titles.

With the very little free time I have left, I enjoy reading, golfing, biking, and gaming.

And sometimes I even find time to sleep… sometimes.
